Stephanie Forster

August 2, 2008

Stephanie Forster’s show is up in the Yaletown Gallery and it’s really taken off. She’s opened up the front display and her work runs the gamut from small curios like “Pyrate” to the large masses of paint and emotion in “All of Me.” She’s got a few happy souvenirs as well, and she’s using her sales to go to China to help opium addicts. Check it out before she’s gone!

Wrapping up Movement

July 29, 2008

The Yaletown Gallery is, right now, filled with the colourful work of bill bissett. There’s been two successful nights to meet the poet-painter, of course the opening and then nite uv the shaman.

Both nights were quite successful, with a good turnout of good people, and the company of bill bissett is always refreshing. He speaks in the same interesting way that he writes his poetry. If you didn’t make it out, you won’t get another chance soon since bill is living in Toronto. Fortunately, his show runs till the end of the month, so CD’s and poetry books are still available.

And, of course, the beautiful paintings.
